Taverners Hill MLR station is a planned light rail stop located adjacent to Parramatta Road at the border of the suburbs of Lewisham, Summer Hill, Haberfield and Leichhardt on the Metro Light Rail line in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The stop is planned for completion in 2014. The extension will make use of the former Rozelle branch of the Metropolitan Goods railway line heavy rail freight corridor and operate from the current light rail terminus at Lilyfield to Dulwich Hill.[1][2]
Taverners Hill is a well known locality name for the area located immediately to the east of the stop along Parramatta Road and extending up to Norton Street.[3] The stop is estimated to be used by 255 boarding passengers per weekday by 2016 with 95 of those arriving by bus.[4]
